Cunningham & Mears is proud to announce that firm co-founder Ryan Cunningham has been named, by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, to the “2018 10 Best Personal Injury Attorneys for Client Satisfaction” list for Oklahoma! The AIOPIA publishes its 10 Best list every year, based on a rigorous evaluation process.
The AIOPIA was founded in 2014 as an independent, third-party ratings service that believed “Attorneys should be recognized for excellence in their field and that potential Clients can benefit from this knowledge.” Its goal was to identify lawyers around the country, in 13 different areas of practice, who “have attained the highest degree of professional achievement in [their] field of law,” and who have done so while achieving the highest possible client satisfaction ratings.
In order to be eligible for selection, an attorney must have been nominated by a peer or a client, or by the Institute itself.
The methodology used to select attorneys
After an attorney is nominated, he or she goes through an in-depth review and evaluation process by the Committee. Those factors include, but are not limited to:
- Obtaining an impeccable client rating, based on client and peer reviews
- Having never been subject to any Attorney Grievance Committee discipline
- Being a member in Good Standing of the State Bar
- Degrees obtained
- Awards and accolades received
- Membership and leadership roles in professional associations
